All GCP access requests should be made through Developer Portal. It will be in Developer Portal under the IAM section.
For access requests to a resource like BigQuery, use this request and fill out the details. Please be sure to include the Google Group for your team since access is granted at the group level, the GCP Project, and the resource name (GCS Bucket name, BigQuery dataset, etc.).
Access requests to GCP Projects can be made here, but these are granted in limited cases, and are usually reserved only for engineers.
Use this to request a new service account.
Please be sure you understand GCP terminology before making a request:
Principal. A principal can be a Google Account (for end users), a service account (for applications and compute workloads), a Google group, or a Google Workspace account or Cloud Identity domain that can access a resource. Each principal has its own identifier, which is typically an email address.
Role. A role is a collection of permissions. Permissions determine what operations are allowed on a resource. When you grant a role to a principal, you grant all the permissions that the role contains.
A project organizes all your Google Cloud resources. All data in Cloud Storage belongs inside a project. A project consists of a set of users; a set of APIs; and billing, authentication, and monitoring settings for those APIs. So, for example, all of your Cloud Storage buckets and objects, along with user permissions for accessing them, reside in a project.
GCP Resources
A cloud resource is a an asset that you are looking for access to. In this context, it is usually a specific dataset, bucket, service, etc.
